RISK ASSESSMENT TOOL FOR LABORATORIES (LAB RAT)

This semi-quantitative tool guides you through the process of identifying hazards associated with a specific laboratory process or an entire laboratory and then helps you assign a numerical risk to the process or laboratory.  The results of the risk assessment can then be used to identify specific hazards or controls which can be addressed to reduce risks.
