Purpose: The training requirements in 29 CFR 1910.120 include annual refresher
training for workers affected by the regulation. OSHA requires the contents of this
training to include certain topics specific to the duties of the workers. This 1998
version of the Annual Refresher is directed at EMERGENCY RESPONSE PERSONNEL. This
training program is designed to review safety and procedural concepts. Several workshops
and exercises provide increased awareness through hands-on learning. A version for
Hazardous Waste Site Workers is also available.
