EMERGENCY RESPONSE: CONTAMINATED EMPLOYEE
4-Hour
AGENDA
Purpose: Employers prepare to handle chemical spills, and provide some direction
as to handling a contaminated person. Experience shows, however, that when a spill
involves a victim, response is less than adequate. This day seminar addresses this
complex problem. Participants will work through a number of scenarios dealing with
injured, contaminated and trapped victims. The information gained in this training will be
applicable to any workplace which uses chemicals and at which an employee could become
injured and contaminated. Please note, this is not First-Aid training. This training is
specifically focused on chemical contamination and chemical injuries.
