Purpose: All employees who work with chemicals must understand the potential hazards
which the chemicals may cause in the work place. Participants in this seminar will gain an
in-depth understanding of Safety Programs, and Management's involvement in the Safety
Program. The major areas of chemical safety are discussed in depth, with an emphasis on
practical methods of achieving the objectives of the Safety Program. A variety of
workshops and discussion methods are used to help participants understand the technical
concepts. This seminar can be modified to address the specific chemicals present in the
workplace. A one day version can also be presented.
